So Much Is Spent to Make Us Fear A Better Life

Almost everything we need to survive is getting really expensive! From groceries, to gas, to housing. And our governments are doing nothing to help the average person be able to afford these expensive prices. Price caps could be easily put on essentials to prevent businesses from ripping us off. But they won't do that because it doesn't make money 🤑
Because housing has gotten so expensive in our area and across the country so many people have been forced out onto the streets. It is not because these are bad people they can't afford rent or a house payment and every time housing prices my go up we all feel we are one step closer to joining them. Our government could easily go after these giant faceless real estate companies that are buying up all the housing and making the housing prices go up by forcing them to contribute some of this housing to our neighbors that are now on the street. But they won't, because that doesn't make money
Nobody likes our government. The approval rating of Congress is only 10% the obvious corruption is a slap in the face to the people. They suck money out of our pockets and somehow are never able to accomplish anything. The 395 north Spokane corridor has been under construction for decades. The streets are barely ploughed in the winter and the potholes are disgraceful. Every few years we alternate back and forth between the 2 main parties in the US and you really have to search to notice any changes in policy between them that benefits the people. They pretend to listen to the people but it is far too obvious the only thing that they listen to in our corrupt system is money.
We can claim to be free all we want, but with the highest percentage of our population in prison despite crime rates steadily declining for the last 50 years, but still police budgets getting unthinkably high. If you look at what the police protect they are nothing but a military preparing to fight against the people on the side of corruption. The places where gun control is the most strict is because Republican governors like Nixon and Reagan where getting scared when communities were arming themselves in self defense against the government. The government is not on our side.
Nothing is built to last anymore. Everything is made to break down or require a subscription to get you to give more of your money away. Our country is embarrassingly behind on transportation compared to the rest of the world because everyone having their own car makes some people so much money. The more we rely on cars the further spread out everything is from each other making insane traffic and commutes normal. But these things that make us all miserable but make some people so much money are not going to go away unless the people organize together and build a society that does not rely on money to be the only thing that motivates people. This organizing is organizing to build socialism. And so much money is spent to keep you scared of organizing with your neighbors because so much money is stolen from us.
